Vibeke Gwendoline Fængsrud is a renowned educator, mathematician, and entrepreneur, serving as the founding CEO of House of Math, Norway’s fastest-growing EdTech platform for mathematics. With an impressive academic background, Vibeke holds a master’s degree as a Lektor in Mathematics and Physics with a master in Mathematical Finance from the University of Oslo and is trained in leadership from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Leadership and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.

Beyond her work with House of Math, Vibeke has authored 11 math books covering the full Norwegian curriculum and a total of 27 titles overall. She is also the creator of the #ViTarAnsvar initiative, a project where businesses sponsor math tutoring for middle schools in need. She is also the initiator of Math for Ukraine to help Ukrainian youth learn math while they are seeking cover from the war. Additionally, Vibeke plays a key role in several leadership and advisory capacities, including serving on the boards of listed and non-listed companies such as Hav Group ASA and TheFactory Capital. She is also involved in Oslo Høyre’s Representative Council and worked with the Knowledge City (Kunnskapsbyen) group to shape educational policy for schools and kindergartens in Oslo.

As a thought leader in math education and a strong advocate for accessible learning, Vibeke continues to inspire students and educators through her innovative approaches to teaching and leadership.
