Speaker Bio

Inda is an actor, clown, director, and teacher.

From a very young age, Inda had a deep interest in theatre. However, it was after graduating as a Sign Language Interpreter, discovering a non verbal comunication, working on social and artistic projects with people with disabilities, and the beginnings of an intuitive belief in the transformative power of laughter, that led him first to study and then to pursue a professional career in physical theatre and clowning.
This passion has led him to collaborate as an actor and creator with numerous theatre companies and international casts, performing on stages such as Sadler’s Wells, Southbank Centre, and Soho Theatre.

In 2016, driven by the desire to tell his own stories and to connect emotionally with the audience through the universal language of gesture and humor, he founded the Inda Pereda Company. This artistic project is characterized by producing physical comedy shows without text and with international projection. His trilogy, consisting of TRAPPED, LUBBERT, and THE HERO’S JOURNEY, has toured theatres and festivals around the world.

Inda continues to believe firmly in the power of laughter. This belief drives him to keep collaborating on projects where social and artistic aspects merge.
