Speaker Bio

Einar Duenger Bøhn is a professor of philosophy at the University of Agder and one of Norway’s most visible and versatile public intellectuals.

 

He earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009, followed by academic roles at the University of Oslo before joining the University of Agder as a full professor in 2015. His research spans metaphysics, philosophy of religion, ethics and aesthetics, and he has published extensively in top international journals.

 

Einar is the author of several books, including Meningen med livet (The Meaning of Life, Spartacus, 2019). Beyond academia, he’s a multi-artist, producing podcasts, music, visual art and a regular guest on national radio and TV.
